RANT: Does anyone else have a "mother-in-law" from hell? I swear mine is not of this planet. First, she admits she's jealous because my daughter's other grandmother (my mom) spends more time with her than she gets to. Then, she lies about having cancer, yes cancer 😠. And now, she blocks me on Facebook for not answering her calls (she calls me about 20x a day). Is this real life?

That's a shitty thing to do to lie about cancer. My mil talks crap to my husband about my son from a previous relationship saying he's coddled and not well behaved. (These things are not true) she lives in another state and has only met my son 3 times. I don't care if you talk crap about me but keep my kids out of it. And she's upset because my mom spends more time with her grandson than she does. But I'm not going to limit my mothers time with him just because she can't see him all the time. She posts on fb about it. Shit pisses me off.

Seems like the older people get they forget all that respect the preach so much about to they "younger generations" who should "respect their elders". As far as I'm concerned you need to give respect to get it. No matter how old you are.
