I want to learn how to check my cervix myself ..
@rockysmommy, @michellevaldez4750 im@mot understanding how is it a risk if u wash your hands good and or put on gloves and be careful the Drs do the same thing
@rockysmommy, not to mention the risk of an infection, which wasn't even in the article I was reading but I'm sure it happens
@rockysmommy, I have heard you can tear your bag of water that way if not careful! I wouldn't be comfortable doing it either but I just can't stand things especially fingers inside of me :-\
@maybaby2016, but Wats the difference they wash their hands and wear gloves I can do that too
@michellevaldez4750, @maybaby2016 I'd be terrified I'd cause a problem or something 😩
@alesia_, yeah you can feel the bag of water and the baby too a lot of times! I think that would scare the shit out of me too!!
@1prince1princess, nope just as simple as putting your fingers in and knowing what to feel for. I can't stand having fingers in me so I just can't do it but if you don't get freaked out like me lol its easy.
I tracked my cervix when we were planning to have a baby and used that to tell when I was ovulating and such. Now it makes me nervous to check it because the last time I did about 3 wks ago I could feel her head. Haven't had sex since lol
I don't recommend it though as it can cause early labor and infection. Doctors are doctors for a reason, they're specifically trained for such things
Wow I never knew that I always though it was something completely different @michellevaldez4750
You can Google it. It's supposedly a lot like the chart you get in a tampon box where the picture shows a woman with her leg up on the tub or toilet and reach down with your hand. however many fingers fit is how many cm you are.
@1prince1princess, yeah there's a safe way of doing it. I'm just scared...
