i lost my mucus plug a few days before. the morning i had her i woke up with blood in my panties.

I lost my mucus plug at 37 weeks and my son started coming on his own 2 days before I was 39 weeks when I was supposed to be induced I had cramps that felt like I had to poop they just got worse I had to be in contractions for two whole days

omg!!!! such a scary story my God. 😢@j.d-rose that's one of my very fears, I've been going through so much during this pregnancy , I just beg and plead too God please let this labor and delivery go WELL. So glad you guys are OK! but I'm so sorry you had too go through that

I was at work and in the frozen section working and ended up getting nauseous and so I went to lunch came back and started getting contractions I was doubled over during so I drove home and had my husband take me to the hospital! got there at a 1 and walked for an hour and was at a 4 then so got admitted! I was puking at this point with every contraction and they gave me iv antibiotics(strep b) and fluids and I just sat in the bath for 45 minutes then asked to be checked and was at a 9 and I had the baby 15 minutes later (before doc showed up)

did the bath help with the contractions? @autumnrae

yes it saved my life!!!! once I was in I could breath through my contractions and they were bearable until I hit 9 when I asked for an epidural(planned to get at 5-6 but wasn't as bad as expected) but before I was in the bath and once I got out and waited for the epidural they were unbearable!!! I wouldn't even consider going to a hospital for the births of the rest of my babies that didn't have a tub!!! it was also nice to have my hubby dump cold water over me during contractions!!
