Has anyone who's had a csection used one of these? Do they actually help with recovery?

@abrooklynn, yea my OB ordered it the day after my c section when she came and checked my incision. It was called an abdominal binder. The nurses were great about helping me put it on so it was nice and snug. Also it'll be a few weeks before clothes don't irritate it. I wore maternity leggings for a month after and didn't start wearing jeans until like 6 weeks and then still wore maternity ones. Now at 2 months pp I wear my regular clothes but my incision will still burn from time to time and my tummy is numb. I heard it could be years before all of those symptoms actually go away

@rylannsmommy2016, omg that sounds terrible. Insert sponges into your own incision? My c-section is in three days. 😦

@marce88, I'm not sure why the hospital didn't give me anything

@rylannsmommy2016, I can't stand having real pants on it. leggings , underwear, and my maternity pants don't bother it. Mine still feels like a numb tingling feeling when I touch it

The hospital gave me one that worked just as good.

I couldn't stand to have anything right up on my incision. But apparently I'm the minority. Support might be really good.
