@coko, 😩😩😂😂I would have never had another child lol it took me almost nine years to get pregnant again I was terrified of the pain. I know I'm gonna be traumatized after this one. Idk how you did it.
The epi never helped me with baby #5 because they took too long to give it and with baby #4 it worked for 10 minutes and thats it....And thats crazy @custom_cutie
@coko, I agree with you. Then after the pain has intensified they give you the epidural. The Drs say stay still😒it's almost impossible. I've had it done twice. The second time only my left side was numb from the epidural and I was already taped up my back. The Dr had to come back take the tape off and give me the epidural again. I swear I thought I was dying😧
It made my labor 30+ hours, deff slowed everything down and it just makes contractions unbearable.. I remember crying before getting the epidural.. But at the end, you forget it all once you hold the love of your life.. I'll do it again any day. It isn't THATbbad how people make it seem. The epidural was amazing and I felt NO pain besides the pressure you feel when it's time to push.
The contractions hurt I won't say they didn't, but once I had the epidural it was was less painful than I thought it would be. honestly I'd take the epidural sooner if I'd known
sure! We got to the hospital around 6pm. After I was admitted they put an iv in my arm. I had no signs of labor on my own. I was only 1 cm dilated when we started. they put a bag of pitocin on my iv and she said they were starting at a low level.
at about 8 I wasn't feeling anything still. They upped how much pitocin I was getting. I was starting to get cramps (like period cramps) by 11 pm I was 5cm dialated. I felt a lot of pressure (like I really had to poo) the cramps got worse and at 7 cm I got an epidural. The cramps pretty much disappeared. at 2:45 am I was 10cm my water broke on its own at 8cm (but she said most induced women have to have their water broken) and the pressure was what I felt most. I could still feel tiny cramps but they weren't strong. my daughter was born about 30 minutes later.
But they did tell me it can take up to 2 days time with induction
