my birth story:

let me start by saying my SO and I tried for 3 years to conceive, so don't give up if your having trouble conceving.

Tuesday was a pretty normal day for me.. walking around the house, taking naps, trying differ was to induce naturally (like pinapple jucie, bouncing, sex, nipple stimulation ). I got up from a nap about 12, went to actually get dressed for the day, and noticed a small gush of fluid. didn't think much of it, but it happened another time after so I called my ob. they said come in and they would check me out. called my SO to take me, had to remind him not to get in an accident in his excitement. lol. got to the doctors and sure enough my water broke, mind you the first in 4 pregnancies to do so naturally. walked down to labor and delivery to be admitted. got put in the room and set up about 230pm. contractions were pretty regular and could be seen on the monitor with good strength.. I was dilated to a 7-8 and 80%. we walked, bounced ect while waiting. at about 945 the contractions finally became enough to warrant the doctor to head in. our precious daughter was born at 1044. I was lucky enough to be able to have a birth photographer there and can't wait to see the pictures (I already posted a couple ). we are already 4 days old, her bilirubin is elevated so we spent an extra night in the hospital, and now have a bililight blanket at home. rechecked our levels today and should find out how long we will do this for.
