@hamman13, when I googled it said it was mainly a risk if you ate unpasteurized farm eggs in the first and second tri, so I told my hubby I was just going to do it lol

@hamman13, @expectingz lol do it. I was so paranoid about everything my first tri especially but it isn't worth it. The first 4 months I didn't even want to eat at all anyway I was so sick but my husband made sure I did. I lived (literally) on macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy and milkshakes that was all I could keep down and everyone told me I was going to gain way too much weight so I was paranoid about that too (turned out to not be true at all, I've gained 19 pounds at 36 +2) went back to eating really healthy after I felt better and I had turkey breast almost every day even though everyone was telling me not too, it could make the baby sick. My dr helped a lot she basically said that was very rare and it almost never happens in this country just to do what I thought was best and pay attention to my baby and my body.

@valeriexxrenee, We made sure we asked the doc first before continuing to eat the running yoked eggs, she advised not to. I got paranoid about the weight gain too, but now doing the Bradley Method, we are on a nutritionish diet to make sure the baby is getting what they need. I am active with excersing, bc I'm a teach we have to walk a lot, and I feel great at this stage. I never had the eatting restrictions or had problems with holding this down. Just being educated about things is the best bet.

Yep, pretty much everything everyone freaked me out about turned out to either not be true at all or was way exaggerated, I just do what I want at this point. I always liked really healthy food I just couldn't keep anything down my first couple months. I felt so bad one night lol, my husband was trying to be really sweet and made grilled salmon with asparagus and brown rice ( my favorite lol) when I was about 2 1/2 months and I walked in and smelled it and was immediately in the bathroom throwing up. It was cute though he tried so hard. But after that I was ok. We eat mostly grilled chicken and lean beef and fish again now and whole grain bread and pasta, brown rice lots of vegetables and fruit and water. I think it helped that before I got pregnant we were both really healthy eaters and excercisers. Before I got pregnant I was actually training for a bikini competition, which I hope to be able to do after our little Micah is born and I can get back to working out and lifting again. @expectingz
