Had the most eventful day went to my regular checkup today at 4 and right after they sent me to the L&D to get checked out because my BP was high. They literally scared me the way they hurried me to the hospital but I stayed in Labor and Delivery getting monitored for over 5 hours baby and I and by the grace of god ended up fine.My blood work , urine and BP remained normal the entire time. They checked my pressure every 20 minutes for 4 hours. I wonder what spiked my BP like that I'm 31 weeks so they wanted to rule out preclampsia since it was a sudden spike. The only other time I had a slight high BP was at 19 weeks but I blame that day of sitting in traffic trying to get to the appointment but since then it's been fine!! But on a good note I actually had a good experience with my hospital L&D so hopefully when it is my time to deliver I will have another great experience.Has anyone had a mysterious spike in their Blood Pressure??? I have to go back to my doctor on Wednesday for another checkup but I don't want that happening again. Very Scary for baby and I.
