I don't know what to do about my fur baby he isn't eating and he's lost weight drastically we have had him since he was 10 we found him in 2008 he was a rescue when he was 10 he found us while we were camping after being thrown out of a moving car yes I said moving car he came up to us and he had little cuts and gashes and no front claws it really pissed me off to think someone would throw a cat with no claws out into the lake area knowing he couldn't fight seeing him now makes me sad and depressed cuz he won't eat and he barely drinks water I honestly think he's about ready to go and I'm not ready to let him go

he was probably declawed. cats fight with their back feet. if he was 10 when you found him, he's probably lived out his life. shitty thing to think about but that's how old my cat was when he passed. he, also, had stopped eating, as well as gone deaf and blind and got a really bad mucus problem in his sinuses. best thing you can do is comfort him and keep trying to get him to eat and drink. if he's not in pain just let him continue on.

@brudd330, yea I hate to say it mama, he's not gonna live much longer. he's had a long, and I'm sure good, life.
