Gallstones are no joke. I literally want to rip my gallbladder out and sleep with no pain 😭😭

@lezette, it sucks. I only get it in the middle of the night and Tylenol isn't working.

Me too. Around this time always. They gave me oxicodone something like that

& it helps

@lezette, you can take that while pregnant? is it only for the pain or does it help with the stones too? I asked for medicine, which is supposed to help the stones get smaller or not make anymore any they said no because its a waist of money and time and takes years for it to work.

I can. Since I'm on my third trimester. Also it isn't a lot though, they gave me the one with less of that oxi. Yeah surgery is the way to go I guess.

I had mine taken out literally a week ago while I was 14 weeks. the doctor that did my surgery said it the most common surgery he had done on pregnant women....I'm still recovering from the scars but I can say the pain definitely went away & I can sleep without feeling that pain the galstones did to me. it is a painful process but it better to do it now before it can cause damage to your health and the baby .

@mommy_to_be_1005, I had already talked with the doctor that works with gallstones and they said they won't remove my gallbladder while I'm pregnant but if I'm in the second trimester and it gets infected, or stone is stuck in the duct then they will suck the stone out but I have to wait till after I have the baby to remove it. I wasn't going to remove it but I definitely think I am once I have this baby. I have constant pain or feeling in that area but sometimes it gets worse at night. I only had one serve attack that was in December, I didn't go to the hospital since I didn't know what it was and only last 5hours, and since then, randomly, I get some nights where the pain is strong but not as bad as the attack I had in December

damn mama I'm sorry to hear that hunn . I had mine removed in my second trimester. the pain went on more than 48 hours. the doctor told me that it can only get worse if I don't get it out. so I did it on April 6th at 5 am. my mom had her removed after she gave birth to me. back in the day, they wouldn't want to remove it while she pregnant. I guess some places, some doctors still say that . but mine was concern about my health and my baby so I had removed. my mom told me it the most painful experience she had while being pregnant.

@mommy_to_be_1005, 48hrs? that's way too long! mines only latest about 4-5hrs and now when I get pains about 1-2hours. I couldn't handle 48hrs, that must've been really bad then. they said I only have three big stones and then little ones so it isn't that much of a concern only if its blocking

@kelseys, no I had the pain here and there but if you still have the pains after 48 hours, you need to go to the er . that what they told me. yes it was bad . and I had like 3 small stones that kept getting bigger and bigger
