So I received an email from my insurance health record system with lab results from my group b…

So I received an email from my insurance health record system with lab results from my group b strep. It says on there the group b strep was "detected". Does that mean positive?

Test was done 10 days ago....I haven't got a call from my OB to discuss my test results and I'm 38 weeks (on Sunday) 4cm 50% effaced already.

Wondering if I should call since my last L&D was less that 30 minutes and 8 minutes from wheelchair to birth...obviously he was in a hurry, no drugs and no time for any IV or anything. I've read that IV antibiotics are necessary for group b strep.

Thoughts?
