QUESTION: Okay, so this is my sternum tattoo pre-baby (left: around December I believe, right: a few days after I got it done), a lot of people (a lot without tattoos and some with tattoos in non stretchy areas) have been saying it's going to get ugly when it starts to stretch but I think it's still going to be pretty and actually want to do a topless shot when I do my maternity shoot to show it off a little; I also have a tattoo on my side that people have said the same thing about, any mommies with tummy/side/hip/torso area tattoos experience any really bad stretching and their tattoos looked different (or "bad") pre and post baby? My weight has fluctuated all my life and I got it when I was a little smaller but gained and lost weight like crazy since I've had it (the piece is just about a year old) and still haven't seen a difference. And excuse the slight nip slip and piercing lol

I have one on my side and it did get bigger but it looks the same. just looks bigger

@sandycheeks, thanks! I'd love all my tattoos regardless of if they changed a bit or not, but it gets annoying to hear peanut galleries who know nothing about tattoos and have no real experience trying to speak on something they don't know anything about.

lol I never listen to other people. everyone's body is different. and usually you don't gain alot of weight right there it's more just your actually belly. I think it will look beautiful (:@jc100495

@katazyna, thanks! All people who know nothing about tattoos have said to me is that it's going to look so ugly eventually and since I'm pretty much the only person I know who has tattoos in areas like that I don't have anybody to kind of ask for firsthand experience or anything.

I have bear claws on my rib going all the way up to my back and it's still nice after baby. Actually this is the first time I looked since I had my baby.

The first one if before (obviously) but it looks like it should go back to normal. Looks a little sideways now that I took the pic. Didn't notice that before.
