my step sister did that with her oldest, that was back when the newspaper who was admitted and discharged and who gave birth at the local hospitals.... she never had it in the paper and britneys birth announcement didn't run for a month or so

britneys dad wanted nothing to do with her the whole time my step sister was pregnant and she didn't want him or his family coming up and trying to get rights

I plan on doing that, where I live they still put you and the babies names in the paper. I don't want my daughters sperm donor to know when she is born. He didn't want anything with her this whole pregnancy, he doesn't deserve to be part of her birth. When he pushed for an abortion and told me he doesn't want his name on any of her paperwork and can't afford another kid, he gave up the right to be part of her life. I won't be at the hospital here in town, so if he does find anything out he will not even know where she is going to be born.

@hermommy it's all in text messages. I saved it all in case he ever comes back and tries anything. I will be asking the court to terminate parental rights for him when the time comes too. He has texted me 1 time since I told him I was pregnant. (I found out and told him about 3 weeks along) He texted me around 22 weeks and asked how things were and I told him it was none of his concern. That's the only time I have heard from him. My daughter is better off without him in her life.

@hermommy, yep for years the hospitals around here (there are 2 and they are 13 miles apart) had a little blurb in the paper under all the arrests that had who had been admitted who had been discharged and if anyone had given birth.... we also get a paper to fill out that has a birth announcement in the newspaper ( has the name, parents name, weight length date and time of birth, grandparents and great grandparents listed) however the little blurb is no longer there due to hippa laws and you can choose not to have the announcement... you can also tell the hospitals here that if anyone calls or visits that you don't exist, they almost wouldn't let me in to see my step sister because I had forgotten her room number and had to stop are the nurses station

I did the 2 day after birth. We had so much issues with my in-laws so my dr band all visitors with that lady name. So if they called the hospital I wasn't there 😂
