Getting really confused with all this car see malarkey! We've got a 04 plate car, which dosnt have isofix does this mean half the car seats will be no good. We're looking at getting the silver cross wayfarer with matching car seat but we have no idea if it will fit! We will probably buy online direct too so places like mothercare will not check the fit......please help????

you could possibly go into store and pretend you're going to buy and get them to fit it so you can check the fit before you order. We've ordered the same set but got a really good deal directly from silver cross, much better than mothercare and ours has arrived but we're a little unsure of how to fit it too lol, ours is 09 plate so we're hoping for the best lol x

Even if a car seat has isofix they will still go in a car without you just wouldn't add the base on Hun x

was just gonna say what @holliesinead said the iso fix part is just the base. so u can go 4 any car seat :) x

A car seat doesn't need isofix, it can be done with a seat belt. The only thing that involves isofix is the isofix base for the car seat x

i have got this pram and xar seat to match and it fits anycar as can be used with isofix or without as can use seatbelt also .. xx

I have this and the isofix fits in a Suzuki SX4 nicely, which is quite a small car and doesn't have slots for the isofix that I can see. It should be fine xx

My car has isofix but the base won't fit in the back of my car properly as you have to have a hands width between the seat and the chair and mine doesn't have that. I'm just going to be using the seatbelt to strap the car seat in x
