Do you bring hostess gifts to a baby shower? I'm planning on doing a thank you gift afterwards for my sister-in-law throwing it for me but I guess I didn't know if I'm supposed to bring her a gift TO the baby shower

Ive never heard of that. I did ask certain people to be the "guardians" of my baby. But for the people that did our shower. I just gave them flowers and gave them a thank you card

you can gift and thank her after. it doesn't necessarily mean it has to be that day. I doubt she'll expect something anyways but she'll be happy when she does (:
