Sometimes I think maybe I should get checked out to make sure it's not my water slowly leaking but…

i was told in the hospital even if you aren't sure but think its leaking to go and make sure

Go just to be safe. I've already started dilating and my dr said your tummy tightens with contractions but I haven't noticed yet. Everybody is different. You'll never know until you get checked.

@kellynicole, @mommy_of_3 @glo_ I think if it keeps happening I am. Cause the last time I was checked was 35 weeks. And I wasn't dilated. So I have no idea if I am dilated any or not. And my stomach gets super tight through out the day and I have back labor and false alarms. Just never enough to go. But I always think that. I rather go and get sent home then sit here and think it's nothing and then it be it

If you think you are go get checked! I had a slow leak and didn't know it. My contractions weren't regular or very strong, she was still moving around a lot, and I didn't have a trickle it was pooling and then when I'd go to the bathroom it would come out then. I was 2cm and wasn't dilating at all so they had to induce me. Now our daughter is 6 days old!

I'm just not sure with leaking fluids and getting infection! I know if your water BREAKS u have to have that baby out in 24 hours to prevent infection. But I'm not sure about your water slowly leaking.. That's the only reason why I say go get checked.. Or at least maybe call?

The longer you wait it could cause an infection for you and your baby if your water has broke. Mine was broke for over 18 hours because when I called the hospital they told me to wait and call my doctor in the morning.

@mommy2two10, awe! Congratulations! And yea my contractions (I think that's what they are) are irregular. I'll have bad sharp pains and It'll seem like they're coming close together. Then when I start timing they'll go away or it'll be like 30 min and then I'll get another. So they aren't constant. But there's some times where I'll be just sitting there and all the sudden feel myself leak and I gotta run to the bathroom. So idk. I'm prob just overthinking it but I always hear stories of women who had no idea they were in labor so I always think "could that happen to me"

@mommy2two10, @kellynicole and I've told my dr about this every week and she just kinda tells me that it's normal and I'll know if my water breaks. So that's also why I think sometimes it's nothing because she's told me I'll definitely know the difference. And all the pressure and tightening is just my body practicing

my water broke and i wait 10 hours to go to hospital cause the contractions never started...

I had no idea that's what it was, I just kinda had a feeling and my doctor said if you think you are leaking at all go to the hospital, they do a quick swab test and they can tell you if it's broke or not.

Go to the er they do a examen and tell u it is water leaking or not its your water the induce you if the test is negative they send u home , yesterday i was in ER for the same reason , i hope this help u 😁@samijoy
