It gets better. It takes a little bit for your nipples to get used to it. So worth it though!

it was completely fine till he learned to flip flop my nipple around literally feels like he's gonna end up swallowing my nipple one day I finally got use to it till he started doing this :/ @whitney might just be be a faze

Probably just a phase. My son is 5 months now and is starting to teeth.. so he likes to use my nipple for teething relief. I feel your pain! He'll get in a routine and it will work out for both of you!

does it hurt you at all ? if that's how it feels now I can just imagine what it'll feel like when he's teething but he will learn he will be two weeks on Monday so he's still very young it'll probably change the older he gets @whitney where can you get nipple butter? Nipple butter is at Walmart in the baby section I believe next to the pumps and breast pads in a yellow tube

Depending on how old he is. takw him off and say no, or that hurts. I did it with my daughter around 3 months for gumming on my nipples. It took about a week, but she stopped. They know the cause and effect.

I did that tonight actually I kept unlatching him off my nipple and he just screams till I latch him back on and then when I do latch him back on he does it again I do remember the nurse saying make sure he doesn't use your nipple as a pacifier and thats what it feels like but he's asleep now @meagansimone

Babies nurse for more than just food. The pacifier was made to replace the breast, so he can't use you as a pacifier. He'll get mad when you do it, but sooner or later, he'll learn. How old is he?

He may be too young to understand cause and effect. unless it's painful for you, I would let him. He's still new to the world and boobs are a huge source of comfort and safety for them, especially when they're breasted. You can try introducing a binky if you don't like it.
