Seriously?! Just ignore her. I don't think the girls were trying to scare you. Just inform you in the chances of something going wrong. But I'm sure you and baby will be fine❤️
@gionna_sav, I don't think she thinks it's funny Hun I think she was just trying to inform you and yes I agree just posting a story like that is scary and a little harsh but now you know not to do it again. I'll pray for you and your little one❤️
I took castor oil when I was in full labor but got sent home because I was only 3cm and I had to be 4 to stay. So I took 2 teaspoons of it. And had no diarrhea and I didn't get any negative affects from it. 33 hours later I was back at the hospital and 4 1/2cm and They let my stay my daughter was born 34 hours later and she didn't poop but I took it on an empty stomach and drank lots of water. Ive read that a lot of people just got really bad cramps from it. I still don't recommend for any one to take it just because I had a not so negative affect from it, doesn't mean someone else won't. But Walking and sex helps you go into labor! Best of luck❤️
@gionna_sav, I think she just means that if it doesn't work and your baby does poop in the womb it will be in there longer with it and could create the complications. I understand your fear but at least now you know so you won't try to use it again. It's unfortunate that so many mommies don't know the risk before they decide to use castor oil. I wish you the best of luck and wish your baby the safest delivery!

No problem, I'd stay away from it it though from now on and have nature take its course. I know it's hard at the end but it's so worth the wait! I had my son 6 days after my due date.
@proudtobeamom, no I don't sorry, you can look it up on google and it'll tell you all about it and @gionna_sav they can be up to 2 weeks off on your due date when baby is ready they will come or if medically necessary your dr will induce you other than that you should let baby cook as long as possible, so they can continue to get all the nutrients and grow as much as possible
@mommytoprinceaiden092915, well I'm 5 days from my due date. So it's not that big of a difference.

I didn't use Castor Oil but my baby got stressed during birth and pooped in the womb. He didn't swallow it thank goodness but yes the problem with Castor Oil is that they can poop awhile before you actually deliver and there is greater chance for them to swallow it and get in their lungs.
People need to know the consequences of castor oil, honestly it's not worth it to risk the babies safety and too many women are trying it the chances are slim but there is still a chance of a problem especially since your not at your due date yet, you should only be trying natural things
