I didn't have to insert it but I had progesterone shots in my hip every week when I was pregnant with my son

Yeah I Have A Short Cervix 3 Weeks Now Every Night and I Helps....But My Co-Workers Family Member Had To Insert The Pill As Well and Didn't Deliver Until 42 Weeks

@sabby, my cervix has been shortening since 20 weeks I'm not 31 weeks . I don't know if it's really been helping since it's still shortening. Maybe it's just slowing it down? I'm now also on procardia to stop contractions Since the contractions have been making it shorten as well. Also on bedrest so it doesn't shorten anymore and so I don't get anymore contractions. Carrying twins has created a lot of stress on my cervix and uterus so it's hard to tell what is working and what isn't. I have cervix cal ultrasounds every two weeks and they are either showing my cervix at the same length as previous or shortening. I've been to l+d triage once at 29 weeks for contractions. Hoping I can make it 36 weeks. But it's looking like I'll be lucky to make it to 34.

I never heard of the inserts. but I do get the shot in my hip once every week.

40 weeks my son was born on his due date, I was induced though!
