Ok ladies.. What are your thoughts on not having your son circumcised?
yea look up pics of balanitis... its Infection of the penis and is very common in uncircumcised penis' . its where the skin is being pulled back when peeing and then after peeing the pee stays go under all the extra skin and get infected. yuck. good luck telling a 13 yr old boy he needs to "wipe" after peeing :/
Easier hygiene. Circumcision makes it simpler to wash the penis. Washing beneath the foreskin of an uncircumcised penis is generally easy, however.
Decreased risk of urinary tract infections. The overall risk of urinary tract infections in males is low, but these infections are more common in uncircumcised males. Severe infections early in life can lead to kidney problems later on.
Decreased risk of sexually transmitted infections. Circumcised men might have a lower risk of certain sexually transmitted infections, including HIV. Still, safe sexual practices remain essential.
Prevention of penile problems. Occasionally, the foreskin on an uncircumcised penis can be difficult or impossible to retract (phimosis). This can lead to inflammation of the foreskin or head of the penis.
Decreased risk of penile cancer. Although cancer of the penis is rare, it's less common in circumcised men. In addition, cervical cancer is less common in the female sexual partners of circumcised men.
I honestly think its nasty looking when they aren't circumcised and lot of women think that. I don't want my sons to be embarrassed about what they have. the older they get the riskier the surgery is and I don't want them to be upset because it wasn't done when they Wouldn't remember it at all. regardless of pain they don't remember it. and I remember in high school in locker rooms boys would home about other boys not being clipped. I don't want that for my sons . my opinion (:
we have an 8 yr old who was circumcised and our soon to be second baby boy will be circumcised. they use anesthesia where I have my babies and if u talk to the nurses they will make sure they use it on your infant. but when my son was brought back to me he wasn't crying. he literally was gone for like 30 mins if that.
We're getting my son's done. but like most of the others said ultimately it's your choice. the way I see it though is if you do it now he won't remember it. but if you don't and he does end up needing it done or deciding to have it done when he is older he will remember the pain and from what I've read it's a much harder recovery when they're older.
I'm getting my sons done but like @jacesterlingsmommy said it was really my boyfriends decision on that since he's the one with a penis lol
It really makes me sad that all of you women have decided to circumcise.. It's so pointless. I hope that you never tell you're kids that their bodies shouldn't be altered by piercings or tattoo because you altered their body in their first week of life without their consent.
I will not be circumcising my son. There's no medical reason, it's usually done without anesthesia, and it's something that can never be given back. I see no point in altering my boys penis based on my thoughts alone
I'm getting my son's done. My SO was mostly the deciding factor since he knows what it's like to have junk. lol
What they all said! it's YOUR decision. I had my son done because it's a lot more hygienic
I agree! I personally am gonna get my son circumcised, but its all up to you mama! No judgment! Remember its YOUR baby, so you do what you feel is best! No one else's opinion matters! (:
It's so much better to do it but ur choice and be ready to explain why u didn't if he asks when he gets older
isn't** being pulled back
