We have my 4 year old step son and 5 year old nephew over tonight and all weekend. They get so loud and hyper and rarely listen. I am at my witts end today and about to pull my hair out! Not sure if its just me today being hormonal but the fact im so annoyed with these boys today makes me think im not ready for these twins at all 😣😣 Ugh! Trying not to be negative but im ready to end this weekend already!

@aj33, so true. You definitely have more patience with your own. Plus, you have 4 years to work up to handling that with your own. Your appreciation for children will increase after your own, too.

thanks ladies @aj33 @indigenousmommy I feel awful about how impatient I am today. we usually have a lot of fun together. Not sure why it feels different this weekend

I've felt the same way. Some days are just gonna be harder than others. 4 and 5 are hard years, kids are just starting to realize they can impact their environments and get their way. Just stay consistent with them and keep clear boundaries. If any kid senses inconsistency then they'll try to use it to get their way. Good luck. Nobody is perfect.
