Okay mommies, FTM here and I'm starting to fill out my pre-admission form and there is a birth/labor preference sheet too. Well I've obviously never given birth before. lol. So just curious, what are some things you found comforting or helpful. Did you have music or anything? recommend a birthing ball? IV pain meds vs an epidural. stuff like that. I plan on a vaginal delivery as long as babies are in the right position. Any insight is welcome, thanks in advance!

I never filled out this paper but I had the Iv pain meds but no epidural and I had cmt on when I was on labor

I had both an epidural and iv meds and me personally feel like the iv meds made me really loopy I don't remember much of my labor and the doctor said it was because the iv pain meds

My OB highly recommends epidural over IV, because the effects you get off the IV drugs, your baby does too.
