So today I talked to my husband about where we could live after he gets out and I suggested the Onslow County area in NC and he was against it at first but now we both think he would like it once he gets out of the Marine Corps and is able to enjoy life. But I'm actually terrified for him to get out for so many reasons like insurance and what if he doesn't get a job before he gets out like he hopes to, and what if I can't find child care there like we're gonna need because I can't trust anyone, especially in the Jacksonville area. But we still have about a year and a half so I need to stop stressing out

@madibug96, we used to live there, actually just moved in March. We own a town home there. It's a really good area. I'm a sahm so my daughter didn't go to daycare except for occasional drop in care at the Cdcs and Kidz biz. Our house is in Carolina forest, it's off western and although I don't have personal experience with them, the day care in that neighborhood I have heard amazing things about! I think it's called new beginnings, it's on Carolina forest Blvd also the elementary school right there is supposed to be amazing.
