I need help on what is best for her to take to control it she's been to so many doctors and non are helping. anyone know of anyone....maybe the meds their on that helps. my poor father in law has put her in the loony bin for wondering off to giant eagle in the middle of night with no shoes on. he is so over whelmed with her. their both in there 60's....please does anyone have a clue on this.

@angylynn22, she does take her meds. she's been in the mental unit numerous times. the Dr can't ever get her meds right

bipolar disorder is depressive-manic disorder. meaning periods of major depressive episodes and periods of manic episodes. thats what it sounds like to me (im not a doctor)....but if he's placed her in a mental health unit they should get her started on a regimen of meds and do some teaching to your father in law, they just both have to be willing and receptive

This doesn't sound like bipolar this sounds like alzhiemers or something those are some crazy symptoms. If nothing's working you might just have to let it take its course 😥
