I can't believe she is 4 weeks old already. She is growing like a weed! So much has happen since she has been born I can't wait to see all she does!
@emkasting, No they say sucking is actually a great way to lower the risk they would suggest one for sure. It's scary to be a FTM but it's great to have groups like this so can help ease those fears of the unknown and every momma is different so if it's uncomfortable for you don't do it you know your baby best always remember that 😊
I mean I've heard to try not to introduce a pacifier at least until breastfeeding is established, but nothing about it being a risk for sids 😕
You were told pacifiers are a risk, really? I'm a FTM so I'm new to everything but that's not still thought to be the case is it?
With having babies a decade ago I tried hard not to read too much into the new stuff with my new baby. Between my 2 daughters 2006-2008 I was told no fan or pacifiers they are risks for SIDS then in 2008 I was given pacifiers right away at hospital and they turned fan on in room saying these lower the risk for SIDS. Aubrie definitely doesn't cry and she has slept in it, I wouldn't worry too much that your baby won't like it :) I think babies are pretty easy to please or I was and am just blessed with great babies :D @emkasting
Oh okay! I read a lot of reviews about it when I bought it and a lot of people say that their babies won't sleep in anything else and blah blah lol. Plus since its at a slight incline it reduces the risk of SIDS, that's something I really liked that I read about it. I hope my baby likes it!
@emkasting, she doesn't mind it but I co-sleep she isn't in it much luckily it was second hand and was donated to me. She seemed a bit small to fit in it when first brought her home now it's a better fit.
