We are a family of almost 5, My husband has just switched jobs, I've lost my job, We have 2 children and 1 on the way due in July.
We are on the verge of becoming homeless. We have gotten behind on bills because of our job losses. We dont want to go on welfare.
Between Rent, Phones, Insurance, and other bills on one income we just can't do it on our own. We've cut off cable bundle(cable, internet, home phone), We've had our car Repossessed.
We normally don't ask people for help, but now we need the help.

I've been in a similar situation. Welfare/ government assistance is there for situations like that. Your state's cash aid program or even food stamps/WIC may temporarily help you. I know it sucks but look into your state and county's assistance programs. It's better to be in state assistance than being hungry and homeless. Look into it and see if you can be on it until you get back on your feet. You can also check with your local churches even if they're not affiliated with your religious preferences. A lot of places have a food bank that may provide you with a hot meal or a box of foods for dinner. You can also look into low income housing in your city and see if you can get into a place that charges rent depending on your income. Good luck momma. I know it's tough but work hard, keep your head up, do what you have to do and remember your babies need you!! You can make it through all this!
