My baby shower is next Saturday the 23rd. So why did the lady that was supposed to be making my cake…

Well it's good that she gave you so much notice. You still have time to get a cake from somewhere else. It would be pretty horrible if it was the day before.

@jana.bear, yeah I've been trying to look at it as a positive but a lot of people won't take on a 3 tier cake this late! And there's a lot of event s going on in my city that weekend.

Well I know this probably isn't what you wanna hear but a lot of grocery stores do beautiful cakes. My friends forgot to order my baby shower cake and I literally had to get one made the day before and I ended up at Harmons grocery and they pulled it off and did a gorgeous job.

Yeah Wal-Mart does some pretty nice cakes girl you still have time don't stress @quitadon

when my husband and I got married our cake lady waited until 2 hours before our wedding to call and say that she didn't make enough cake for both of her appointments that day. so she was taking our cake and using it at a different place.... that was my bridezilla moment. she got there 10 minutes before the wedding started and the last thing that I said before walking down the aisle was "there is no way in hell that I am paying you for this!"

@jana.bear, @twins1987 thanks! I'm going to SAMs in the morning. I seen some decent ones online...my feelings are just hurt but I'll get over it.

@lilmommy93, yeah I would have a heart attack if it happened like that! But I'll be okay I'm going to search at some grocery stores.

my shower is on Sunday and we are doing an outdoor theme so my MIL is just getting a plain white cake that says "Welcome Baby Brown" and then putting a pair of his Camo boots and some little animals on it. if nothing else works you could get little things to match your shower and do something like that.

@lilmommy93, yeah I'm having a BaByQ so it's outside as well😁 yeah I'm brain storming now
