Our lady bits are self cleaning. We shouldn't really put anything down there. If you think it's starting to smell take that squeeze bottle or your shower head on the gentlest level and clean the crevices as gently as possible. If you shower every other day, make sure to wash up. If there's a noticeable odor talk to your OBGYN, soap won't stop odor.

Usually hospital gives you a squirt bottle to wash yourself out every time you use the bathroom did you get one? I tore with my first son I just remember using the bottle all the time

Use a squeeze bottle with warm water and pat dry with a washcloth
