FTM: so I was talking with my mom the other day and she said that I should look into birthing classes. my insurance pays up to $100 but I just really dont feel the need to take them. opinions? did you take them? did they help?

I didn't take them and if I had it really wouldn't have been worth it cause I ended up having a c section with all my pregnancies including this one

I took them and they didn't really help me at all. They were more informative for the males.

I didn't my mom was my birthing class I mean its a waste of time when you gotta mom who's had kids

thank you ladies. I told my mom that I didn't need them. I took a class in highschool about pretty much everything u need to know about pregnancy and I am a self soother and I feel like the way the tell your partner to sooth you would piss me off lol. I think I'll stick to my birthing videos

I did take them with baby #1 it's very informative and let's you know whats happening and what could happen during and after labor I would recommend for 1st time mom's
