My childhood wasn't bombarded with technology, I didn't have a tv in my room until I was 10 and I didn't have my own phone until I was about 11-12! I never felt like I was missing out because I grew up learning to use my imagination :) We had a family computer but I was only ever allowed on that for an hour a day. I want to bring my Daisy up the same! I want her to spend hours playing with her dolls and getting dirty in the garden, I definitely dont want her stuck in front of a tv or tablet for hours on end!

I'm exactly the same @firsttimemummy21 :) I met my hubby when his son was 2 and was the same with him.. Unfortunately his mother and others aren't but me and him have so much fun with our adventure stories etc.. it's soo much better for kids.. his teachers noticed the difference in things like his homework when he has done it with me.. I think more ppl should be like us lol 😁 x

@barnold, Definitely! I think children really miss out nowadays! when I was a child I could have made up a whole adventure story with a rock and a stick!

@firsttimemummy21, haha I was the same.. we had tiny front gardens with walls and gates, we pretended the floor was lava and you had to get to ur friends house without touching it.. everything around us was a story or adventure.. I'm not huge on technology now even.. Can't beat good old pen and paper lol but it's certainly more fun using an imagination rather than having square eyes from TV phones etc..
my step son is 5 and has his own tablet and xbox and camera.. uses it all better than me lol x

mostly I remember bike riding, parks, board games, playing with my brother and making daisy chains :)
