If it is dangerous they might just wand you but that's a good question to ask your OB. If you don't mind, letting me know when you find out. I'm extremely curious about that since me and my SO are TTC and his family is all the way in Montana.

Yes, you can bring your own food but don't bring anything that's a gel consistency they will make you throw it away. ( I had to toss out my jello and my liquid drinks😭) as far as the body scanners I'm not too sure about that because the airports I went to didn't have them (I traveled from Montana to Texas) they just had the metal detector thingy (I think that's what it was) I would definitely ask your doctor about that because they will know if it truly is dangerous or just a myth. I personally don't know, unfortunately.

Not really. I flew when I was around 20 weeks I just made sure to bring my own food into the plane just in case and I was glad I did! Snacks were way over priced and I could not stop eating, lol. My advice pack a lot of food if you eat when you get bored like me. Also, I felt like my ear popping was worse when I flew pregnant so I tried chewing gum every chance I got and take a neck pillow and a small thing of Tylenol just in case. Aside from that you should be just fine. Hopefully this helps! 😊
