Most women reach or go past their due date with their first baby. But don't think that because it's your first that that will be the case cause there are those that deliver early or before their due date.

i was thinking i was going to be over due because i wasnt dialating at all she came on her due date... it sucks not knowing when but it makes it that much more exciting...

I was a week overdue and had to be induced. I labored for 47 hours before I ended up getting a c-section. I didn't sleep or eat through my whole labor and had no strength to push. I was stuck at 4 forEVER. He was all worth it though. I felt the same way you are feeling. Just be prepared for one of the most amazing experiences!
