Do you make a date to be induced or is it just when the dr says it's time? I know I'll be getting…

I'd also like to know, my doctor said the same .. I wish I could tell you but I won't know until next week

I had no plan to be induced, I went to my 38 week appointment yesterday & my doctor decided induction is probably my best option & I agreed so we picked a date. Kinda curious how it came up for other moms too. I'm sure it's different for everyone

you don't HAVE to be induced at all...Unless the doctor has a legit medical reason. I'd definitely ask

My dr wants me to have her the sooner the better, cause she has a kidney problem and there has been other things we've been watching that we won't know a def answer to till she's here. @chrissytee @addi-maesmama All I've been told is that she's delivering me at 39 weeks. But like you said @lynnx1800 idk if it'll be 39 exact or later on in the week. I didn't even think to ask when we were talking about it.

I went in for my weekly appointment a day after my due date and my doctor told me that we would set up my induction date for next week if he doesn't come by then. I will be 41 weeks. So when I checked out, the nurses handed me a paper with a date and time on it so I know when to check into the hospital.

They told me at 39 weeks I could be induced. They tried to do it at exactly 39 weeks and it happened to be my middle ones bday so I picked June 3rd instead of June 1st.

With my last the specialist said that they would induce and I would get a call. then my ob called and said be at the hospital on Wed at 7am
