Ignore it and let them whine and cry. They eventually learn they don't get their way. My now 6 year old stepson used to be bad with that

he's gonna be 6 soon too, also my step son... it really has seemed to pick up lately. now it's every single time he is told me! @shananaginsx

The more attention you give it, the more they seem to do it. It used to be big at dinner, we just completely ignore it and it seems to not happen as much.

I will sure try to ignore it more, I've just been sending him to his room every time cause I'm tired of hearing the fit. I realize that I go back on my punishments too much though
