So it turns out I have pityriasis rosea. If you look it up scientists/researchers know very little to nothing about it. They're thinking its viral, they don't know how it's transmitted but it's supposedly not contagious? (That makes sense 🙄) My only concern is that the little bit of research that has been done in regard to pregnant women--it wasn't good. (Still born, fetal defects, preterm labor, etc.) In various different places I've read pregnant women should be closely monitored with having this. My OB/GYN doesn't think it's a big deal and that it won't hurt the baby. They said if it gets worse, to see a dermatologist. There's no cure for it though. You're supposed to let it run its course which may take 6-8+ weeks. Idk what to believe. 😖
