I haven't had that exact situation, but my dog has peed on my bed a few times and been acting out. It's common for dogs to act out, they sense that something is different. At least that's what I've been told. Just continue doing what you're doing and it should stop 🙂 my dog stopped acting out, now she's just extra cuddly and needy lol.

My cat has been peeing on my bed once a month and she's also been peeing on the dresser I have baby stuff in. I definitely think they are acting out. She's also been needy and in our faces when she used to be very independent and to herself. Hopefully it stops soon cause I can't have her peeing on baby stuff or in the crib or anything

@skyealana, I totally agree with you! We rent right now too and she has literally peed on the dresser and floor then jumped on the bed and peed on my husbands shoulder/ on the bed in the middle of the night ! We were so mad we locked her out of the room after changing the bed sheets and blankets and then she dug a hole in the carpet by our door trying to get in. So now hubby has to patch our carpet before we move out. I was so livid. Hang in there she's gotten better this was a few months ago she hasn't done it in about a month(knock on wood 🚪) 😊

I know how that goes! We live in an apartment, and our dog ate our bathroom wall, which she has never done before 🙁 but she hasn't done anything destructive in a few months now. My vet as well as doctor told us it's very common for animals to be that way, but almost always stop. My friend's cat was peeing on baby stuff too! @skyealana @samclark5

@samclark5, @simplyairbear @skyealana - I work in veterinary medicine, and my suggestion is to seek the help of a behaviorist or trainer. Worth every penny! Although, cats are more challenging. If baby's stuff is in another room, keep that door closed. Keep the litter scooped daily. Maybe add one or two more litter boxes in the house. With cats, there can be medical reasons for it too, so a trip to the vet might help. Good luck!

@sam.g, we have debated on doing this because we felt something was not right lol thank you and we will definitely be heading to a vet soon we love our fur babies !
