AT HOW MANY WEEKS DID YOU LADIES LEAVE TO GO ON MATERNITY LEAVE?

Unfortunately I won't be able to begin my maturity leave until I actually go into labor. I work for the govt and we do not get paid maternity leave so we have to use our sick and annual time.

In my country they give u 2 years to rest and take care of ur baby ... Here they don't really care that much if u pregnant :/

I'm not taking mine until I go into labor and taking maybe 3 weeks off. I don't get paid for being gone so would like to take less time off.

@chloesmama96, Country name is Uzbekistan ... But over all over seas Europe or Central Asia has very good benefits for maternity . The goverment look seriously for every pregnant woman , they want them to be healthy and take care of the baby's with rest .

Here Ob Gyno till I ask they have no clue .. Even the technology they use its sucks .

@chloesmama96, Over seas they send u special Ultra sounds every pregnant woman to find out details if the baby developing right way ... Every pregnant woman must get all that test .. Here only if they suspect they send u for special test ... My older sister lived in USA 20 years and moved back in my country and raising her child over there .

I worked right up until my water broke during my lunch break. I was only given 8 weeks leave so I definitely couldn't afford to leave early!

I was forced to go on maternity leave at 38 weeks. But wanted to work until I went in labor
