check your HR..... normally it is a month before.... if you are high risk it's earlier

I'm 35 weeks today and took my leave. First day was yesterday

I don't get to take my maternity leave until after I have my son

At 38 weeks..

@alesia_, how is your 2nd day of leave ? exciting? I was bored at home for my 1st one cuz I took off a month before and all I did was sleep, eat,watched TV lol

There isn't too much excitement, I had to take my leave early to try to keep baby in til at least 36 wks. So far so good only had a few contractions but still had shooting pains in my vag. And I have this really irritating itch all over my body that won't go away. And anytime I'm on my feet for longer that 20 mins my hands and feet get red and hot. Had some swelling but not too bad. So yeah tons of fun over here
