At how many weeks do people have a baby shower please? All new to me, nobody had them 12 year ago when I had my son lol…

I wouldnt have one any earlier than 30 weeks, most people i know have them between 32-36 weeks x

I had my first shower this time round 😃 I had it @ 35 weeks @hawkie75

I had Mine at 35 weeks xx

I'm having one in 2 weeks and I'll be 33 weeks. (: xx

Thanks guys I think I'm going to have to have it at 36 or 37 weeks as everyone's on bloody holiday xxx

My family has planned one for me when I'm 37 weeks. Scares me how close to due date it is but only when everyones free 😵 xx

Is baby shower a British or american thing? none of my friends had one, I'm not sure if I should also just have baptism and not bother :)

Generally they're organised for you by someone else (best friend, sister, mum etc). Not really heard of anyone organising their own :/ but usually after 30 weeks is the norm I think.

@ssumner, my mum is doing it at her house but if I didn't sort the date myself there would lots of friends on holidays or away etc

@hawkie75, hahah! I'm the exact same, I just can't help myself! I've made a list of all the buffet foods we're doing and all the games we can play! There's a few things they've done behind my back so that I still have a little bit of a surprise😂 I made the guest list too! xxx
