Not pregnacy related...sorry. When do you apply for housing benefit etc before you find a house or after? How can you move into a place you can't afford initially then apply. Not sure if that makes sense?

Better to apply before so you know how much you are entitled to. If you apply after sometimes you need to top up the rest and you may get into arrears xx

But if you're after rent in advance and deposit you need to give them an address and moving date xx

@janegail, @firsttimemummy21 How do you know what your etitled too thought if you haven't found a place to live yet? Does it not go on how much rent and bills are etc? What if you don't know? Xz

@suzie31, at the moment my partner and I are only entitled to single rate housing which is £350 a month ish but as soon as our daughter is born we are entitled to two bed housing which is about £500 a month xx
