I am having a c section dose anyone know if u can wear fake nails still or will they take them off…

Ive heard they ask you to remove them because they need to monitor your oxygen by pressing on your nail beds, but I'm not 100% sure, maybe ask your doctor at your next appointment

I was asked to remove nail polish so I'm guessing they'll ask you to remove your fake nails

you can have fake nails as long as they are a clear polish. my sister in law just had a c section 2 weeks ago and she didnt have to remove hers.

@bub2015, she has white tips. as long as they use a clear base and not a pink base its apparently okay. as long as when they press your cuticles they can still see colour change.

I've never heard of them asking you to take your nails off. Most women get their nails done just before birthing. I just got mine really short before Bub came and had no issues with scratching him or anything

I was asked by doctors to take them off on at least one finger before also because it screws up the thing they put on your finger that monitors your heart rate.
