My son will be a week old tomorrow and I already feel like such a failure as a mom. I couldn't give birth to him (got to 5 cm and stopped. Had to have an emergency c-section). And now I can't even feed him. I am not producing enough milk for him to eat.

Uhmmmmm hellllooooo, he's alive into this world, correct?!? You definitely gave birth to your baby! And don't feel discouraged mama, sometimes breastfeeding doesn't go as planned. As long as your baby is fed that's all that matters!

c section doesn't mean you didn't give birth to him. everything may not have gone how you planned it but nobody would make a better mother for your little one!
