I got it in February!

I have it, just got it placed for the third time ever. Had it for the full 5 yrs the first time, 3 yrs the second time, and a few weeks now. Any way I can help?

I may or may not have developed an ovarian cyst issue after the second placement, and after having had it for three yrs the second time, I began getting painful ovarian cysts - so I had it removed because I attributed it to the Mirena. It couldn't be proven for sure that thats what caused it. I never had any other issues though and continued having the cysts long after it was removed - I still get them till this day, so I dont believe it was caused by the Mirena. I have never had any other issues with it - if anything, its the best bc I have tried.

I couldn't even have sex for a while, felt like I was trying to make love to a knife.... 😖😰

I have had 2 of them. The first one I had for the whole 5yrs. The second one, I had for a little over a year. I never had any problems except for it was uncomfortable to have sex sometimes. My husband would get poked by the string, and sometimes it felt like I was getting stabbed in the uterus while having sex.
