I need to go back to finish my criminal justice degree. I didn't go for a whole semester and they dropped me so now I have to reapply. I'm planning to go back either for the Summer or in the fall since my son will be turning 1 when fall semester starts back up.

for me it's actually very hard and demanding because you need those hours in beauty school so you can't just miss when you want to I don't find the time I would say I force it I have three kids so I go while my oldest is at school and the youngest two go to daycare it takes up my life it feels my life is literally kids school kids school home sleep and repeat for a whole year my sister calls to ask what's new and it's the same thing same routine everyday it will be such a huge relief when I'm done ,I go for six hours monday-friday it's like jail to me but I push myself to go there has been many times I feel like dropping out takes up so much of my day I rather be home with my kids but it's something I feel I need to do when I don't go to school or miss a day I feel very quilty but I want to provide a good life for my kids so I have no choice

It's really so much better in my eyes. If you really want something, don't let anything hold you back.

Yeah. this semester ends at the beginning of May and then he's born in June and I go back in August. I wanted a semester off but I knew if I took it off I probably wouldn't go back, so my college advisor really helped me with my schedule and gave me the easier classes and I only go twice a week.

@rockysmommy, so you aren't taking any breaks? You're doing everything continuously right?

@cookiemonster1216, I was thinking of online but turns out it would be better to go into campus as I would get the full experience with criminal justice. Now I'm considering on being a medical assistant. A counselor advised me that it would probably be best in my case as it can definitely guarantee a job. I am so confused on what to do.

I was pregnant with my first son while in school in 2013. don't change your plans. if criminal justice is your passion, chase it. I plan to reapply to work as a PO after I give birth in July.

@mrsbutler, you're almost there. How are you managing with mommy life and then schooling?

I graduated with my AAS when I was 35wks pregnant. I plan on eventually going back and getting my BA, but it just depends on when I get pregnant with baby 2 and what is going on with my job. I did take a few online classes after my dd was born though

I got two years left of college I am going to become a preschool teacher

Well at this college I have another year and a half maybe and then I have to transfer to another school to finish

@jacey3, that's really good. I wanted to continue doing criminal justice but looks like I'll have to rearrange my career plans 😒

I have a B.A in sociology with an emphasis in criminal justice.

@mrsmoore, that's really good. Is it working out for you being a mom and all? I know cosmetology is hands on learning. Where do you find the time?

I'm in college and will be when he's 8-10 weeks old that's when I go back

I'm in cosmetology school will be done July will be going back for management license and establishment license

I want to go back to get my Master's. I graduated last spring...if I'm of any use let me know 😊
