I need opinions, ladies. My husband's birthday is Saturday and we are going to Orlando to hang out with his family and friends. He was thinking of going out to downtown Orlando to a couple of bars and I don't ever go out with him but I wanted to be there to celebrate his birthday. (I'm obviously not drinking or smoking, I just wanted to go out with him) and he seems to really not want me to go. 1. because bars are crowded and can get smoky (I totally get that but I just wanted to go dance with him and hang out) and 2. because I 'clearly look pregnant' and he said if he saw another girl with a baby bump he would judge her for being there...I just wanted to be out with him for once on his birthday instead of sitting at home alone like always. I mean, I have no family out here or friends and now that I'm not working...I literally do nothing but the gym and cooking/cleaning/ and errands...anyway, what do you guys think? Sorry for the long ass post

If you wanna go then go! I don't see anything wrong with it. I went out with my husband a couple times while I was huge pregnant but I don't like to cuz I get bored and tired lol so usually I stay in.

@stephhhx3, I'm usually the same way. Plus I get that he needs his guys nights or whatever. But I couldn't believe it when he said he didn't think I should go. I thought he would be happy I wanted to go!

well my husband never does any of that just bcuz he works all the time and hates bars and drinks and just isnt into that stuff. but men that are into going out for drinks tend to just want guy time on their birthdays or at a party but doesnt mean they love you any less and he may be just looking out for you and the baby too bcuz it can get very crowded and you wana protect your bump. so maybe you guys could talk about going out and doing something together in a less crowded place or with a few of you guys friends to celebrate before he goes out to the bar or something? theres always compromise lol. of course i dont know your hubby but its worth a shot lol you never know with men 😊😊💖💖💕💕💖

@stephhhx3, that's what I'm saying lol. @heera Yeah I totally get that, I just wanted to go this one time. Maybe a compromise would work, I just don't want to sit at his grandparents' house while he goes out all weekend, ya know?

yea @kimberkatherine 💖 i totally get it. ide wana go too especially since i absolutely love spending time with my husband. maybe he will come around and think of some place else to go.
