Is it normal for a newborn to sleep 7 hours straight?

My son slept through the night early on too. You don't need to wake her to feed her. Just give her as much as she'll drink during the daytime and her appetite will probably fall in line

as long as your baby is gaining weight you don't have to wake them. my daughter here and there would sleep the same hours but she was already eating 2-3oz .. and she'd sleep alot... I'd still change her diaper and she'd semi wake up and everything but if she wanted to keep sleeping she would... I never had problems.. since birth she's gained gained gained. never dropped weight so I was never told to wake her. but do change her because diaper rashes and stuff

@taiboos_mommy16, @neni0424 I am waking her up every two hours to change and fed her, she's just sleeping through it all today. Yesterday she would cry and was alert when I would fed her and change her.

my doula said not to wake, but I've read to wake after 4 hours to feed. I think it's really preference.
