idk where she got that information from but when I was growing up food stamps helped out a lot. and they don't take out money out of my checks when I did have a job. they just took out for regular taxes but never for back pay for food stamps. but if y'all don't need them then that's even better. I love my food stamps tho cause its money that I don't have to spend out of my pocket to get groceries . saves on money for bills and etc.

My husband doesn't want to apply for food stamps because his mom told us that when our kid grows up and starts working the government will start asking for that money through their paycheck or taxes. idk I told my husband that if necessary then we will have to get food stamps but for now he doesn't want to. @renny_rayye16

you should get both since your pregnant. if you apply for food stamps too you should be able to get them as well since your pregnant.

Thank you guys! I just don't want to cry in front of them cuz I couldn't get it lol I've always been a very sensitive person and I will cry for almost anything. Just last week I went to apply for Medicaid and now I'm just waiting to hear from them.

My nurse did whatever possible to make sure I got wic.
