I was when he was first born until about three or four weeks but now it has to be just formula cuz I'm not producing @whitney

My six week old was eating 6 oz every time

I just let him eat whatever he wanted to eat when he wanted to eat. My doctor said he was right on track and a big boy so it was perfectly fine and he would stop when he was full just like a baby on the breast does.

It usually depends on how much he weighs. My pediatrition said that babies usually eat 2 to 2.5 ounces per pound that they weigh. So my 15 pound two month old boy will usually eat about 32 ounces a day and every feeding he eats a different amount but stays around 30 ounces a day. I hope that helps :)

Maybe just do 5? That sounds like a good medium from what he usually takes.
