It could possibly be your body tricking you due to stress and trying to hard. I ttc for a year before I got pregnant and I always thought I had pregnancy symptoms and sometimes my period would come 20 days late with negative tests.

Pregnancy symptoms doesn't mean you're pregnant. They're very similar to AF pains. At this point if you were pregnant and having a miscarriage the test would be positive.

I agree with @jesjeslovesyou many period symptoms double as pregnancy symptoms and vice versa
