ok so I know it depends on my level of discomfort and pain but how soon did you get epidural? ? they said they won't check dilation until after I get it. .

what???? why would they not check dialation first?? I got to the hospital at a 1 and was at 4 45 minutes later and I asked the nurse when I could get mine but wanted to wait a bit longer but was almost a 9 when I was checked 45 minutes after a 4!!

4-5 centimeters dialated. With my first I got it at 5, and with my second I got it 4-5.
